I can tell you that I honestly didn't start out thinking I would be the manager of a log home company but life can take some twists and turns. After working 18 years in the consumer electronics industry, my career suddenly ended when my job was outsourced. But as they say "God never closes a door that he don't open a window." I had the unexpected opportunity to try something new. My family and I had just built our dream log home and although it was mostly an enjoyable experience, we were still faced with many empty promises from both contractors and building supply centers. 

These two factors were my motivation for starting up Simple Country Log Homes. We know first hand the ups and downs that go into building that dream log home or log cabin. We'd like to help it to be a pleasant and memorable experience for you and your family.
